Go Cycle, A BRAND NEW CHAPTER

In 2010, Jimmy and I opened Go Cycle, the first Detroit-area cycling studio.  Since then, we opened a second location in Rochester Hills, Michigan. We created Go Cycle as a boutique studio to deliver a quality, personal indoor cycling experience.  We never dreamed that our small family business would experience anything near this kind of growth and acceptance.  Equally exciting is that we’ve watched the development of a vibrant, closely connected community that has grown up around the studio...a community  built around a simple idea:  working out can be fun!

We are so proud and grateful to be a part of YOUR cycle family. Now for the BIG NEWS!

Along the way, we’ve learned a thing or two about what makes this kind of business tick, and we’re bringing that knowledge to an exciting new project. Think of it as Go Cycle’s second act.

Go Cycle Royal Oak is now CycleBar Royal Oak

We have formed a brand new company called CycleBar that is creating the VERY FIRST dedicated cycling studio franchise company.  CycleBar studios will be modeled directly after the Go Cycle concept and a similar studio in Boston, formerly known as Spynergy. Our colleagues in Cincinnati, Ohio have launched the flagship CycleBar studio with our guidance.  Our long term plan is to help launch and support hundreds of similar studios around North America…and beyond!

We want to bring the energy fueled, music-driven, unique fitness experience we see in Royal Oak & Rochester, to communities across the country and beyond.

Why not?

Yes, we are changing our name. But don’t worry.  The “CycleBar Ride” will be the very same experience that we have cultivated at Go Cycle over the years.   You can also rest assured that Jimmy and I are still fully committed to our Royal Oak & Rochester studios, will still teach our 10+ classes per week, and remain focused on creating awesome class experiences and workouts for the community.

A million thanks for all your support over the years, and if you have any questions about CycleBar, please don’t hesitate to ask.
